WELCOME to Nest by Tamara blog
Hi- It's Tamara. I'm happy you've stopped by, and since 2010 I've been sharing my passion for interior design, history, art, entertaining, travel & fashion. I am an interior designer, textile designer and writer living and working in New York City and East Hampton, Long Island. My musings have taken me to international design, art, antique and epicurean events and I have lots to share. I'm grateful to have been listed as the #1 top design blog, blogs to watch, top design blogs and named and awarded Rising Star of Design by the IFDA NY industry organization. Please feel free to reach out to our team for an interior design consultation at NestbyTamara.com -Tamara

When You Arrive at Highpoint for Spring Market, Plan To
Hit the Ground Running...

Fall 2014 Market with Lisa McMahon
April 18-23, 2015
In the throes of a busy Spring, I'm taking a few days to head down to Highpoint, NC for the
Highpoint Furniture Spring Market.
What is Highpoint?
Just the largest furnishings trade show in the world with over 75,000 attendees each market, 180 buildings offering 11.5 million feet of showroom space and 2,000 exhibitors for both the April and October Market.  For those who attend they often refer to it as simply "Market".  I am sponsored again this season by Highpoint Market  to write about all of it here on the blog, and I will be assigned specific brands to focus much of my efforts.
Check out a sampling of some of my favorite
"to do" events at this Spring Market...
Highpoint is a whirlwind few days, an inundation of design, spotting new products, meeting with old and new friends, touring showrooms, learning more about the design business and more.  Come glimpse at where you'll find me, some of my favorite spots this Spring Market.
